Framing Options

The Giclée prints are printed on acid-free canvas and stretched on wooden stretcher mounts.

There are two options:

• Gallery mount
• Float frame mount

Gallery Mount:

• The covered wood frame is about 1.5" thick.
• The canvas is printed so that the image wraps around the outside of the stretcher frame.
• The usual presentation is suspended without an enclosing frame.

Float Frame:

• The covered wood frame is about 7/8" thick.
• The canvas is printed so that the image wraps around the outside of the stretcher frame.
• The usual presentation is suspended inside a slim, black frame.

Our preferred format is float-frame mounts.
Gallery mounts are available for the same price.
The cost of the thicker stretcher frame and the extra area that must be printed for a given size,
generally balances out the price of the float frame.

The image can be printed and stretched on 7/8" frames ready for traditional framing.
