A wild Bumblebee hovers beside a Pickerel Weed stalk. The light was at just the magic angle to reflect off the sweep of his wings. If we estimate it traveled one centimetre while the shutter was open (1/400 s), then the wings were moving at least 4 m/s or about 15 km/h. (July 14)
