The delicate blossoms of the Red Maple bloom early in the spring. A tree may have all male or all female flowers, or produce flowers of each sex on different branches. Once fertilized with pollen, these blossoms will develop into the familiar winged seeds known as “Samaras”. Acer Rubrum (May 5)
