I have found Water Lilies to be the most challenging flowers to photograph. If the centre part of the flower is properly exposed, the pure white petals are over-exposed. If the pure white petals are properly exposed the flower is so bright that the rest of the picture is black. Here we have the almost-perfect compromise. (Jul 16)
